Can you imagine?

What do you think it would be like growing up in a nest tucked in a tree? Imagine yourself as a baby bird growing inside of an egg, kept warm by your mother, hatching out into the sunlight and spring air, and living in the cozy little next with your siblings beside you and parents bringing you food. What would life be link in that little bed of grass, sticks, moss, leaves and hair?What would it be like when spring storms come? And what about your first flight from the nest? How would you feel that first time you stretch your wings and take a leap?

Close your eyes and imagine yourself as a baby bird hatching from an egg and living in a nest until you are big enough to fledge. Write down in your journal, a short story about what this would be like.
