Details

Weave a durable and beautiful satchel with kudzu vines! Once split and scraped, kudzu provides beautiful weaving material with a silken sheen that is tough enough to withstand the demands of daily use! In this class, we will be working with multi-strand weaves such as the blackberry weave, braid weave, waling, and twining. Students can choose whether to weave a squared or rounded shape to make their satchel unique. Learn new techniques for processing material and weaving, and leave with a gorgeous basket to use every day!
