Hello children and welcome to the Greenwood!
Meet your forest guides, Jane and Sir Malcolm Cumberbun III.
Today we will be setting off an adventure to explore and map the wild world around us.
For this and future activities, we recommend that you have a special notebook dedicated to your Wildernest journey and something to write with.

Are you ready to explore?
While Sir Malcolm and Jane set off on their journey through the Greenwood, you'll be making a map of your own.
1.
Get out your journal or a big piece of paper and writing utensil.
2.
Mark your location in the center of the paper.
3.
Mark North.
4.
Fill in your map with things you notice inside and outside of your home!

Bonus! Research two ways to find North without using a compass and try them out.
